My artistic journey began in the warm embrace of my mother, who was not only my guiding mentor but also my first art teacher. At the young age of 17, I embarked on a vibrant path, committing myself to four transformative years of night classes in abstract art. By day, I immersed myself in the dynamic world of fashion design and commercial artistry, weaving creativity into every project. As my children grew older and gained their independence, I rekindled my passion for art, sharing what I loved by teaching adult education classes. I established a thriving art studio business at the enchanting Butter Factory in Bellingen Valley, NSW, a place where creativity blossomed amidst an inspiring environment. After relocating to Queensland, I continued to nurture my artistic spirit, offering private art lessons and discovering new techniques across a variety of mediums. Last year marked an exciting new chapter when my husband, Ricky, stepped into this colourful world beside me. With his discerning eye and artistic flair, we began collaborating on breathtaking projects. Together, we create mesmerising abstract art and stunning resin pours that capture the essence of Australia’s natural beauty.
